RTE - Flush & Inset

Every RTE has the option to be rendered flush which will make the left-hand side align with most other controls. Or it may be rendered inset thus making it closer to the centre of wider screens.

Inset - Not Applicable

"Flush" and "Inset" are only applicable where the RTE has room to take up the full width of the page, so the setting is not relevant if there is a sidebar, or if the content is contained within a two-column layout. This block of text has the left margin set to "Inset" however, because the sidebar takes up some space the inset is not applied

Flush

This block of text has the left margin set to "Flush", so this text always has the same left margin regardless of whether there is a sidebar or not. See below the sidebar to see these settings in action.

Inset

This block of text has the left margin set to "Inset" this keeps the content near the centre of the page and works best when placed along with controls that draw your eye to the centre. Here is some Lorem Ipsum to make this block of text a bit larger.

Flush

This block of text has the left margin set to "Flush" this works best along with content that uses stretches content to the left, such as the two-column control when it contains text in the left column.

This block of text has the left margin set to "Flush" but will look the same as "Inset" because it is in a column where there is no spare space where an inset could be applied
