Visit Ruapehu partnered with Terabyte to achieve a complete refresh of their online branding together with a brand new website.

Terabyte’s tourism portfolio was delightfully extended with this Regional Tourism Operator (RTO). The Ruapehu Region covers the Tongariro and Whanganui National Parks, and Visit Ruapehu is responsible for promoting its spectacular scenery and wealth of activities to potential visitors, both domestically and internationally.

Working closely with the team at Visit Ruapehu to create a fresh look and feel for their online brand, this website refresh was a truly collaborative effort, covering many aspects of our offering from discovery to deployment.

Team Terabyte hit Ohakune for the full discovery process, which was not only great fun but integral in terms of unearthing audiences, key deliverables and goals for the website.

Back to the studio to weave some RTO magic, the team produced a responsive website with clear navigation pathways and engaging, inspiring imagery. The website showcases the Ruapehu region, its people and their culture. 

The website includes full integration with the Tourism New Zealand feed and Google map integration incorporating clearly defined and designed areas of interest, making it extremely simple for visitors to cut to the chase, whether it be white water rafting or snowboarding.
