The Challenge

MTC came to us looking to modernise six of their existing sites, with the goal of creating synergy between the sites whilst still maintaining unique touches for each brand. Dated designs and a lack of booking functionality were large issues with pre-existing sites and the lack of freedom when it came to managing site content made updating the sites an easy decision. With the overall goal of increasing direct bookings and revenue, ensuring that the user experience and cross-selling functionality was enhanced was crucial in their decision to choose Terabyte for their digital solution. 

The Solution

Terabyte did an Ideate workshop to understand the overall pain points of the different sites as well as MTC’s goals. We created an engaging online experience for customers by providing better UX and clearer pathways to key information, offering seamless integration with IBIS and STAAH booking engines (a Terabyte first!), and simplified content management by bringing together all the sites in a unified platform. We utilised the Terabyte Digital Experience Platform (DXP) to serve as a base template for the sites with custom design and functionality on the different site homepages, reducing costs without reducing quality.
