The website serves two main audiences: students wanting to study aircraft engineering, both domestic and international, and other airlines wanting to upskill their engineers or flight crew.
The existing site did not provide a clear information architecture, making it difficult for users to find the specific information they required and registration pathways were difficult to follow. It was not responsive and the design was in need of a major overhaul.
Working closely with the Institute team, and within the parameters of a fresh branding exercise, our team re-designed the information architecture, creating clear pathways to course information and registration. Easy paths to registration, enquiry and questions leads to fast and easy engagement on the site.
Fresh photography provides the rich visuals and video is utilised very effectively in the careers section, creating an aspirational impression for users. Fully mobile optimised, this site ranks very highly in page speed terms (it’s actually faster than the main Air NZ site!).
The Air New Zealand Institute represents yet another example of our little country punching above its weight internationally, something we’re very proud of. Long may it continue!
