In 2014 Hamilton Waikato Tourism approached Terabyte to manage the re-development of their foundation website, within a new fully responsive design framework.
Terabyte’s experience working within the tourism industry both at an operator and RTO level meant that they were able to understand not only what we are trying to achieve as an organisation but also the complex environment we work in.

The new website not only needed to be inspiring, as is the case for all tourism websites, but it had to allow potential visitors, both domestic and international, to easily surface operator content within the region, and to support individual operator sites.
Acting as a conduit for visitors and operators alike, this website acts as a hub for everything going on in the Hamilton and Waikato region, one of New Zealand's hidden gems. It also highlights the opportunities for conference and business events in the region. Driving the domestic market is key (Auckland is currently the biggest source market), so full integration with the Tourism New Zealand website feed is integral.
