The Project:
The design of Classic Hits presented us with the challenge of
promoting a radio station that presents localised content to more
than 20 regions throughout the country.
Upon entering the site visitors are asked to select their region
allowing the site to intelligently present a mixture of regional
(for the area that they have selected) and national content. The
site also reflects the local announcer that is on air in their
region.
As with the new Flava website there is an on-the-fly polling
system allowing the announcers to run rapid fire polls taking
advantage of whatever mad-cap antics they are up to at the time.
The content management behind the site is very flexible allowing
the content managers to promote concerts, promos and competitions
to the homepage with ease.
Our primary objective was to ensure that visitors to the site did
not have to go searching for the most engaging, interesting and
valuable content that this could all be presented off the
homepage.
We have since refreshed the
Classic Hits Website.
