The Project:
"Clever, made easy"
That was the tag line for Panasonic when they came to us to
redesign their New Zealand website.
The Panasonic website's overarching objective was to educate the
user into making an informed purchase decision. With the multitude
of electronic manufacturers in the market we needed to create a
solution for Panasonic that not only cut through the confusing and
fast evolving nature of consumer electronics but also enabled them
to re-categorise and re-communicate their product lines externally
and internally.
We crafted flexible templates that could simply market a product
as well as dazzle and engage. We designed user-friendly product
filtering systems, developed acronym tool tips and crafted a series
of authoring components that would spark visual interest, allow
findability and deliver understanding.
All this, and more, under a fresh clean creative direction that
embodied Panasonic's pride in quality craftsmanship.

Given the ever expanding number of products Panasonic offers, it
was important that the CMS could scale with us and that we made
content management as simple as possible. With a few custom tweaks,
Umbraco definitely delivered on that.
After coming from an aging custom built CMS, Umbraco has been a
pleasure to work with. It's highly intuitive to use, allowing a
wider group of people the opportunity to create content with
ease.
