The Project:
This refresh project was commissioned to realign the website to
the changing communications needs of the Council.
The underlying CMS was maintained while changes were implemented
to the Information Architecture and overall look and feel avoiding
the need to undertake significant document republishing.
The website covers a huge amount of ground, providing users with
hundreds of articles containing topics like living and working in
Palmerston North, Council activities, events, the community, and
much more. A standout feature is the A-Z service browser, allowing
users to quickly find information on services the council
provides - from 'Abandonded vehicles' to 'Wastewater'
(nothing under 'Z' as yet ;)
