The Project:

Back in 2005, we developed the website for PAK'nSAVE on our Dynamic Web CMS platform.  With the advent of new web standards, and much improved Umbraco CMS system, we worked with Foodstuffs to redevelop the PAK'nSAVE website, and to take advantage of the new tools and technologies available.

At the heart of the website is stickman, he is the personification of the PAK'nSAVE brand and his personality was critical in bringing the new website to life.  He offers tips on budgeting, offers some cost effective meal suggestions, and occasionally some tongue-in-check words of wisdom to his fans.

The new site delivers a number of enhanced efficiencies for PAK'nSAVE.  It provides new improved communication options between customers and PAK'nSAVE, the ability for PAK'nSAVE to know more about their customers and communicate in context of their store preferences and channels, and the ability for the website to update its content view based on the store or region selected to provide location relevant promotions, competitions, even social media links.

The upshot of all these improvements is a increased level of appreciation of, and engagement with, the PAK'nSAVE customer.  The ability to tailor the content based on customer preferences both within the website and email newsletters is testament to how much Foodstuffs, PAK'nSAVE, and stickman value their customers point of view.
