The Project:
The problem
Focus on Health is a business development challenge developed by
New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) to provide commercial
opportunities in the North American market for New Zealand
companies and entrepreneurs with great ideas.
It provides a forum for New Zealand's healthcare industry - home
of some of the most innovative health products and services - to
provide value-add solutions to North American healthcare
industries.
New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) had been researching
this project concept and required an online presence to introduce
the idea to a North American audience. This campaign page was
intended as an interim solution prior to the launch of New
Zealand.com's North American website.
The solution
The solution took the form of a single page micro-site. Key
content within the page aimed to support the introduction pack and
the scheduled North American trip. Due to an in-market visit there
was a time restriction of a week (from brief to
deployment).
This also required integration with Umbraco CMS to allow regular
content updates.
The result
The website aimed to stimulate new product development,
innovation, commercialization, and collaboration within New
Zealand's healthcare industry.
Focus on Health concluded with a final winner being selected by
judges in New Zealand and North America.
Finalists were evaluated on the originality of their product or
service, relevancy to the market they are pitching in, market
readiness, and the overall quality of their presentations.
Future online plans for FOH2011 will include NZTE.govt.nz site
being used as the NZ facing channel and
NZ.com/Focusonhealth being used as the North American facing
channel.
