The Project:
As a successful platform for communication, NZTE recently
approached Terabyte looking to refresh the look and feel of the
site. Their blog has become a valuable source of information and
therefore our design ambition was to primarily keep the pages
clean, simple and fully focussed on the content.
Black, white and silver grey were chosen to support the rich
blog articles and imagery. Drawing a blue from their corporate
palate as a link accent, a timeline runs down the page following
the posts while highlighting the possibility to share on Social
Media.
A number of authors use the Umbraco content management system to
administer their posts. Within the refresh project the CMS remained
largely unchanged. Editors were able to configure features within
the right column and tailor content to their needs. With the
ability to mark an article as an Editor's Pick, these articles will
become 'sticky' - highlighted at the top of the blog.
We look forward to working with NZTE as their blog grows.
