The Project:

One of the biggest challenges for the project team was determining the information architecture. Previously based on NZTE's organisational structure the IA was re-engineered and structured around the tasks that NZTE's audiences needed to perform.  Much thought also had to be given to jump points within the site information where further specific content was available on another government website.

Information Architecture & Business Analysis

An important first step in ensuring a projects success is defining a structure for the content and information delivered by the site, and planning for users to intuitively access content and interact with site functionality.

Terabyte uses wireframes to identify key content elements and base structure for each template, speeding up the design process by establishing what content the user expects to see on a screen and relative priorities before the full design is completed.
