The Project:
When Tourism Holding's (THL) main website designer had to return
to the UK due to a family illness, THL called upon Terabyte to
complete the front end design work for two of their websites.
Two of our Art Directors worked closely with THL's IT and
products teams to take their designer's early home page concept and
develop complete concepts and a full suite of website template
designs.
THL's IT team took these design outputs and worked with their
suppliers on the considerable development and integration work to
complete what are reasonably ground breaking projects.
One of the most interesting aspects was working with one of
THL's in-house developers familiar with the Google API and
collaboratively designing the interactive map/itinerary
interface.
The Kiwi Experience website is an amazing product, where
backpackers can plan their holiday by figuring out which bus travel
passes to purchase to get to visit their chosen New Zealand
highlights and experiences. They can then book on-line and print or
share their itinerary.
