The Project:
Fonterra's online presence is very important to the business,
and their corporate site needed to represent the organization well.
Terabyte undertook several stakeholder interviews and workshops in
the planning phase, as with such a large business it was critical
to ensure different department's business objectives were met.
Intensive Information Architecture and User Experience design
followed, and the visual design of the site was carefully
considered to follow Fonterra's strict brand guidelines while
giving the site a friendly and accessible look.
Developed in conjunction with Datacom and implemented on the IBM
Websphere platform, Terabyte provided solid and flexible XHTML and
CSS to allow for the demands of the CMS. The end result is a high
quality website that represents the global brand that is
Fonterra.
