The Project:
The problem
In 2011-12 the Australian Radio Network (ARN) and sister
company, The Radio Network (TRN) undertook a large
website redevelopment project to redesign and re-platform all
of their existing on-line radio station brands.
The result was a component based model providing very flexible
and powerful functionality powered by the US based Mediaspan
broadcast media CMS using fresh Terabyte designs.
However, their corporate websites were old and hadn't kept pace
with the demands of their rapidly developing business.
The solution
Leverage the investment and knowledge of the Mediaspan CMS with
fresh new designs and information architecture to cost effectively
produce their two new corporate websites.
Most of the radio station components were not suitable for the
corporate website so we had to design some new templates to house
their content, leveraging the template's cost across both corporate
websites.
We came up with two sets of designs. ARN's look and feel is solid
and vibrant with TRN's being light, bright and crisp.
The result
ARN and TRN now have corporate websites that support content for
their prospect, client and corporate communication demands that
look fresh, reflect each of the corporate brands and also support
the individual radio station brands within the overall corporate
website housing.
ARN now have an up-to-date flexible corporate website that they
can easily change and develop alongside their products and
services.
