The Project:
Auckland Art Gallery is one of New Zealand's leading public art
galleries and houses one of the most extensive collections of art -
both national and international - found in New Zealand.
Currently undergoing a multi-million dollar redevelopment, due
for completion in 2011, the Auckland Art Gallery is being
transformed into a world-class public art gallery for both
residents and tourists alike.
With the unveiling of the new gallery development, the Auckland
Art Gallery desired to refresh the site to capture the enrichment
of art experience that the new development will bring.
Auckland Art Gallery wanted a site that will become a hub that will
inspire, motivate and amaze its visitors, drawing them into the
world of the Auckland Art Gallery.
