Leadership Team

    • Jane Melville-Allen

      Director
    • Jane joined Terabyte from an advertising background and is responsible for client and sales relationships and servicing.

      Over the last 7 years Jane has successfully brought in and delivered some of Terabyte's largest projects and has expanded Terabyte's business into overseas markets. Her most notable wins have been securing two very large projects (beating out stiff international competition) for HSBC Global, both of which are highly acclaimed and were delivered on time and within budget.

    • In her role, Jane's contribution is one of communication consultancy, workshop facilitation, information architecture and overall project sponsorship - ensuring that the communication objectives of our customers are met and that the Terabyte promises made in pitch are delivered and customer expectations are exceeded.

      Prior to joining the advertising industry, then Terabyte, Jane was a Product Manager for a Pharmaceutical company and completed a BSc in Genetics.

    • Doug Hanna

      Chief Executive

      Doug leads Terabyte as our Chief Executive. With over 25 years experience in the IT industry Doug is passionate about software development and utilising the web for business, communication, networking and entertainment and he loves to get involved with our more challenging projects.

      As our business leader he focuses on maintaining a culture of hard work, absolute integrity, going the extra mile for our clients, continuous improvement of business processes, team encouragement and up-skilling,

    • sound financial management and exploring new, better, faster ways of delivering web solutions to our clients. A love of photography and sport has Doug supporting his sons competing in Taekwon-do which includes annual trips to the world champs and world cup as official NZ team photographer.     • Steve Martin

      Creative Director

      Steve is responsible for managing our studio talent and taking creative ownership (and the kudos) on all Terabyte Projects. Being part of the online industry since it was in nappies, Steve has received local and international accolades for his engaging and unique design and ideas. His wide range of experience has included working for Conde Nast Publications in the United Kingdom as Art Director for the online sites of British Vogue,

    • GQ, Glamour, CN Traveller, Vanity Fair and undertaking projects for Chanel and Givenchy.

      Steve is highly involved with a number of educational institutes helping in the development of online studies and is a fellow of The Designers Institute of New Zealand. Steve believes that design and functionality can live harmoniously together and that the Red Hot Chili Peppers are an awesome band.

    • Mark Hendry

      GM Operations

      Mark looks after our team making sure that our work is delivered on time and budget to a Terabyte quality level.

      He’s been in the industry since 1999 and during that time has developed a broad range of skills managing analysts, UX designers, creatives, developers and testing teams. He has also worked with an impressive list of clients with major local and global brand names.

      Mark’s day to day responsibilities are to ensure that our processes and skills sets are kept at the cutting edge of the industry. Mark also looks after resourcing our project team onto projects and generally making sure that we are all happy clams.

    • Before starting at Terabyte in late 2009, Mark was working at a London-based social media agency as Head of Delivery responsible for clients such as: Skype, MySpace, HSBC, Paramount and Samsung. Prior to that, Mark worked as a project manager at Datacom delivering websites for: NZ Lotteries, Air New Zealand, NZ Couriers and North Shore City Council.

      When not at work you’ll find Mark at the mountain snowboarding or in the garage working on one of his cars
